Early access terms

2026-09-14 · Early access

Smoothgram is an independent experimental Telegram client for Windows 10/11 x64. Features may change. Applications are reviewed before access is granted.

The bot stores your Telegram ID, language, application status, and the date and version of the terms you accepted. /status shows your application status; /cancel withdraws you from early access. You can contact the operator through the same bot.

Your personal installer (EXE) contains the Telegram ID of the person it was issued to and a distribution ID; both can be extracted from the file. This marker shows where a copy came from. It does not identify whoever runs it and is not proof of identity.

Once telemetry is added to the app, it will send installation details (OS, version, architecture, language), usage events, operation durations and error codes. Your Telegram account is linked separately, only after you confirm it in the bot. First-launch diagnostics may be sent before you sign in.

Telemetry does not include message text, search queries, file or track names, contacts, other people's Telegram IDs, tokens or memory dumps. Events and logs are kept for 365 days. Credentials and active access records follow separate retention rules.

This site does not collect visitor analytics. Administrative sign-in uses functional cookies. Cancelling participation prevents new downloads; it does not remotely delete installed files.

This version describes how early access works technically. Before the public launch, the terms will be updated with the operator's details, a contact address and a process for handling data requests.
